This week I've been mostly listening to Ed Sheeran's Divide. There is a song on the album called "Barcelona" which I cannot stop listening to. I like the line "las Ramblas I'll meet you around the Sagrada Familia" because those are places I can now visualize after having visited them!
This week I had the most fun walking to Ciutadella Park. It is located near the coast of Barcelona and is only a ten-minute walk from the beach. It seemed like the park had opportunities for literally anything you would want to do. It houses a zoo, the Catalan Parliament, the Museu d'Art Modern, the Zoological Museum and the Geological Museum. Overall, I had the most fun preparing a picnic in the park and taking photographs of the scenery.
This week I am reading Thomas Hardy's "Jude the Obscure." I have to do a presentation on this novel. I purposefully signed up for this presentation because I remembered reading Hardy's "Tess of the d'Ubervilles" and enjoying his writing a lot.
I did not play any sports this week, but I walked a total of 91,000 steps! I also really wanted to watch a Barcelona football (soccer) game, but I'll have to watch their game versus Juventus on TV since the tickets are going for approximately 1,000 euros! It's a big game.
