I got a little antsy locked up in my dorm doing homework, so I ended up going for a walk that led me to Leicester Square. Leicester Square is considered to be like the Times Square of London. All of the theaters for musicals and plays branch off of Leicester Square, so it is very fitting that they have a statue dedicated to biggest playwright of them all right in the middle of the square. This statue of William Shakespeare has existed in London since 1874.
