Howdy and mucho gusto (nice to meet you)! My name is Kierra Kennedy and I am 23 years old. Before we start our journey together, I thought I'd tell you a little bit about myself. I was born in Cailfornia but moved to Texas when I was a baby, so I call San Antonio my home. I grew up in the suburbs, riding my bike in the street with my friends, having sleepovers and swimming in the pool. I have always been a huge bookworm and I love all things horror. Stephen King is my favorite author. I have always had a musical ear, although I'm not sure where I got it from because I'm the only one in my family who is musically inclined. When I was five, I started playing piano and violin. In third grade, I picked up the guitar. Then, in fifth grade, I found my love for the cello. I played cello all the way through university and it is one of the things I miss most about home since being abroad. However, I have started learning the local instrument called the quena (similar to a recorder) and I love it! I went to Texas A&M (WHOOP!) for university and earned a B.S. in Forensic and Investigative Sciences with a double minor in Chemistry and Neuroscience. When I graduated, I became a community health volunteer in the Peace Corps, and that's how I ended up living here in Peru.
