Hello and Welcome!

If you think about it, the more languages you know, the more people you can communicate with in the world! I would love to be able to help other people do that. After making this decision, I took some more classes and taught some of the researchers at my university because they wanted to be able to speak more fluently to their co-workers. I was able to teach students that had just graduated from high school and some students that were 30 years older than me and already working as doctors, lawyers and teachers. They taught me just as much as I taught them! I was able to learn some Arabic phrases, Turkish words and even some Korean! My students made me want to travel the world and, luckily, I found a program that let me combine everything I love: teaching, traveling and languages! This is how I applied a Fulbright scholarship to teach English abroad.

Thankfully, my application was good enough for Fulbright to select me to be an English Teaching Assistant in Hong Kong! I packed my bags and got on a plane for 14 hours to travel to China, where I am now teaching English to university students and living in a beautiful region of Hong Kong!
