Unfortunately, it has been raining almost every day this month. Tuesday was partially cloudy, and Friday was completely blue skies and reached the high 50s! Siena is a small city on top of a hill, with big stone walls surrounding it. For this reason, very few cars are able to enter the city to try to preserve the history and culture around Siena. Typically, I love getting to walk everywhere and going on strolls when I feel stressed or want to talk with a friend. This week, however, it’s been hard to walk around with so much rain! Luckily my apartment is pretty spacious and I’m able to sit in my living room and watch the rainfall outside.
One of my favorite parts about my daily walks is seeing all the different dogs out on the streets! I’ve been coming to Siena since I was little, and back then I only remember seeing my neighbor’s small beagle out on the streets, now I see dogs everywhere.
