Thank you so much for taking the time to read my Reach the World entries over the past few months! It has been such a pleasure to share with you about my time in Spain, answer your questions about living abroad and get to know you.
As we say farewell, I'm also looking towards the end of my time in Madrid--after nine months in the city, I leave in June! My next stop will be Washington, D.C. I am beyond grateful for my time in Spain. Since September when I arrived, I've greatly improved my Spanish, experienced the ups and downs of moving abroad and learned so much about myself. At this point, Madrid is my second home, and I know that it won't be long until I return.
I hope that sharing my time in Spain with you has inspired you to continue learning Spanish and consider living or traveling abroad yourself. When I was your age, I never would've predicted that I'd move to Spain alone at 20 years old! But, it's been one of the best experiences of my life, professionally and personally.
