If I wanted to go to other places in Costa Rica such as to the beaches and any nearby provinces and towns, I would use the national bus service.
I had the opportunity to visit a wonderful place called the Nectandra Forest. The Nectandra Forest, which is technically a reserve, is a privately owned cloud forest filled with various plants and is rich in biodiversity. The owners, two humble and down-to-earth scientists, gave us a tour of the forest including a wonderful tour of the various conservation and community projects they have done in order to keep the forest alive.
