This was my first week in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Although most of my time was occupied by classes and schoolwork, I got to see and do a lot already!
Kazakhstan is developing a clean energy infrastructure (the system of buildings, roads and other physical elements that make up a city). I went to the World Expo in Astana to learn about it!
Our cohort went on an excursion to Charyn Canyon, the Kolsai Lakes, and Lake Kaindy. We hiked, swam in 4° C water, rode horses and had our minds blown by Kazakhstan's natural beauty.
