Bonjour (Hello)! My name is Lucy Aguilera. I am 20 years old and was born in Miami, Florida. Growing up in Miami, you would think I spend all my time on the beach, but actually, I spend more time in amusement parks such as Busch Gardens, Sea World, Aquatica, Adventure Island, Universal Studios, Island of Adventure, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney World, Hollywood Studios and more. In middle and high school, I studied French for 5 years, but because I haven't been practicing, I am not very good. For college, I moved 4 hours away from home and went to Tampa, Florida, where I am studying biology at the University of South Florida.
I decided to study abroad in Montreal, Canada not only because I want to experience other weather besides sun and rain, but also because French is an official language and I really want to become fluent. I am so excited to share my journey with you all, hopefully inspiring you to also study abroad, and I cannot wait to hear about your journeys through the school year!
