Here is the statue of Lê Lợi, a famous Vietnamese hero. He helped lead Vietnam to independence long ago.

This is Chợ Vườn Hoa, a busy local market. You can find clothes, accessories, party supplies, food and many other things. People can bargain with the sellers to get a good price.

This is Lam Sơn Square, a big open space in the city. Friends and families come here to spend time together. I like visiting in the evening when the lights turn on and the whole square feels bright and lively.

This is the City Theater which is located in Lam Sơn Square. When there are events it lights up with bright colors. People come here to watch music, dance and shows.

Lam Kinh is an important historical site in Thanh Hóa. Kings from the Lê Dynasty lived here long ago.

Here I am with my students at Lam Kinh. We are wearing áo dài, a traditional Vietnamese dress. We walked around the old buildings and enjoyed learning about history together.
