Discover Places in Thanh Hóa

Photos

This is my school! I pass this big rock with the University’s name every day. When my friends came to visit, I was excited to show them my life in Thanh Hóa.
This big sign says “I love HDU!” Students and teachers take pictures here on special days. I love taking photos here too!
Hội An Park is a big park in Thanh Hóa City. People come here to walk, play and enjoy the nature. It’s named after Hội An because the two cities are good friends.
These yellow buildings are a recreation of old houses from Hội An, Vietnam. They make the park feel like a little village inside Thanh Hóa.
This is Sam Son Beach, one of the prettiest places in Thanh Hóa. The water is warm and the sand is soft. In the summer the beach is very busy, but in the winter it is too cold to swim.
This is a local fish pond outside the city. People raise fish here for food. The dock is made of bamboo, which is super strong and used everywhere in Vietnam.
This is a rice field after the harvest. Rice is the most important food in Vietnam. When it’s not growing, the fields look muddy and brown but soon they will turn bright green again!
This is Bo Ve Park, next to where I live. People come here every morning and evening because it is too hot in the afternoon. They run, laugh, ride their bikes, play soccer, play badminton and spend time with friends.
