What was the best meal this week?:

We stopped on our way to a meeting to get a nice hot chepati, which is like a flatbread or tortilla that you roll up and eat.

What music did I listen to this week?:

We listen to African music on the radio.

What activity was the most fun this week?:

On Tuesday, I got to sit and watch a group of over 20 elephants playing in the water. The bulls were wrestling with each other!

What did I read this week?:

This week I am reading a book about how to plan and monitor conservation projects.

What games or sports did I play this week?:

I run around our camp for exercise, sometimes watch the camp staff play soccer. In Kenya, soccer is called football.

I got to meet with several different officials from villages this week. Around here, the chief is like the mayor and the sub-chief or elders are their councils.
