Before I left for my trip, the Netherlands was having extraordinarily great weather. The sun was shining and it was pretty warm out all week. The temperature was in the 60s and low 70s during the day, and would dip under 60 at night. This past weekend in Ireland, I was also blessed with sunny weather, with little to no rain at all! It was chilly and I had to wear a scarf, but there was barely a cloud in the sky.
I saw many Great Blue Herons this week, and you will get to see some of them in the Nature Field Note.
In Ireland, I went to the Cliffs of Moher. It was a gorgeous sunny day, so I was able to take a lot of good pictures. The Cliffs of Moher are almost 400 feet above the Atlantic Ocean, so the views were spectacular. You can see miles in the distance, and the fields behind the cliffs were magnificently green, with sheep, cows and horses grazing there. They have the best view in the world and they do not even know it.
