Her latest album, Charm, is what me and my roommate like to chill out to after a long day.
I co-teach a class called Integrated Activity class for fifth and sixth grade. This class is a mix of ethics, health and environment. For this unit we are teaching the students about disabilities, and this week we ran an activity where the students had to complete challenges with a certain limitation. The challenges were: walking down the hall and back while being unable to see; read their partners lips and recite the English phrase they are saying; write their name with the pencil in their elbow, mouth or foot and walk with a deflated balloon over their shoe without breaking it! Running these challenges with the students was really fun, and they gained new perspectives on how people with disabilities live their lives. It was really refreshing to have a class that was more of an activity than a lesson!
My book club has been reading the book How to Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone. It's about two rival time traveling secret agents on their missions, but they start leaving letters for each other and getting closer. How will this affect their missions? The book is very unique, and sometimes I don't even understand whats going on. I'm glad I will get to discuss it when my friends when I'm finished with it!
Because the weather is getting worse, I've been playing more video games recently! My roommates and I play a lot of Super Mario Party Jamboree, and I've recently been obsessed with Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild.
