The weather was perfect this week. The skies have been a soothing clear blue. Early mornings and evenings have been just shy of being a little bit chilly--my favorite temperature. And the morning sun hits the canopy of leaves just right. It's been a great week for peaceful walks to and from school.
I saw cows and dogs again this week. They're a common sight in India. But I also spotted a kitten zipping by for the first time. I was starting to think they didn't exist out here. They must just be elusive. I guess it makes sense with all the dogs around!
The most memorable thing I saw was a bull with really magnificent horns on the street. He decided to take a break in the middle of the road. It was terrible for traffic, but he really didn't seem to mind at all.
I decided to take photos of the street dogs that seem to cover every block of the city. They typically roam around at night. Most dogs are quite friendly, or at least passive with humans, so it wasn't hard to just follow them around. What did I learn? If you thought your pet dogs were territorial, then you should really check out these street dogs!
