It is fall in Milwaukee! The weather last week was cool and sunny, with some cloudy days. This is the perfect weather for walking along the lake with a light jacket and scarf. It is not very hot like it is in summer, but not yet freezing cold like it will be in one or two months.
I saw plenty of squirrels. Squirrels are everywhere here. We also have lots of birds. Our state bird is the Robin.
I also saw a black cat on the street near my apartment. (Some people believe that seeing a cat is bad luck!) I also saw my parent's two pet dogs- Duke and Coco.
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was beautiful Lake Michigan this Sunday. The weather was perfect, and my friend and I went for a walk along Lake Michigan. Lake Michigan is part of The Great Lakes- five interconnected lakes in North America. Lake Michigan is so big that you can't see the other side of it.
