Iquitos was sunny almost every day, except for Saturday when a thunderstorm passed by in the afternoon. Every other day, however, it was hot and humid, with the highest temperature being 80 degrees farenheit.
I got to see some of the coolest animals on the planet! I got to carry a sloth and an aconda! I also saw a spider monkey swinging from tree branch to tree branch, as well as a manitee eating her food. We listened to a tucan in the jungle and got to see butterflies everywhere!
One of the coolest things I saw in nature this week was a pink dolphin on the Amazon river! Peruvians say that if we get to see a pink dolphin, it is because we are lucky. Not everyone gets to see a pink dolphin, apparently.
