The weather has been unusually warm. There was one last heat wave this past week. The temperature got into the 70s two days this week! Meanwhile, it has been winterlike where my boyfriend lives in Indiana. One day, I called him and he was wearing a winter coat while I was wearing a dress with short sleeves comfortably.
I have only seen dogs, cats and pigeons this week. There are not a lot of wild animals in the city. My roommate went on a walk through the woods the other day though and saw a wild boar run past! The boars rarely are active during the day and tend to avoid humans.
The leaves have begun to change colors and fall. They are not as vibrant in color as in Indiana but are still beautiful. My friend Lucy swears the leaves here also do not crunch as loudly when you walk through them. I didn't notice until she mentioned it, but I think I agree with her.
