Kids in Spain

What chores do you have at home?:

They are supposed to make their beds, finish their homework before playing after school and clean up all of their toys after playing with them. 

What jobs do your parents have?:

Their mom is a teacher at the institute where I work, and their father is a businessman. 

What time does school start, and what time do you go home?:

The boys have school from 8-2, but it is also common for kids to go to school 9-12, have a break and go back 3-5. 

How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:

Their mom or dad walks them to school. It only takes about 10 minutes. Pablo is allowed to go alone. 

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

They eat lunch at school, and their favorite foods are pizza, empanadas and ice cream. 

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

They speak Galician, Spanish, and English at school. "Hello" is hola in Spanish and ola in Galician. 

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

Some common names are Uxia, Unai, Pablo, Maria, Daniel, Lucia and Pablo. 

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

They study all the same subjects that we study in the United States, but they also study Galician. Pablo's favorite subject is math.
