On top of that, my host family and professors here have been extremely sweet and helpful.
I have been living in San Joaquín for the past month, and I am loving every second of my experience. My host mother cooks me amazing meals and I learn a lot about Costa Rican culture in my classes at the Instituto San Joaquín de Flores where I go to school. My Spanish has also improved tremendously. This is due in large part to my classes, which are being taught in Spanish. Also, very few people here speaking English. I have only explored a small part of the country, but there is so much left to see. I cannot wait to see what's in store in the upcoming months. I hope that you all enjoy this journey with me and find some inspiration to go on your own adventure one day!
