Hello, my name is Matea! I am 21 years old and I grew up in Homewood, Illinois. Homewood is a southern suburb of Chicago. I am a student at the University of Illinois majoring in global studies. I spend my days learning about different cultures, languages and world issues. I love to travel and explore new places. So far I have been to Argentina, Peru and Spain. Besides traveling, I also love to play music with my friends and take evening bike rides.
I am currently living in Costa Rica, where I am a student at a small school in a town called San Joaquín (pronounced sahn-wah-keen).
