As my adventure in the Canary Islands and our time together comes to an end, I am so grateful to have been able to share many of my experiences with you. Together, we climbed Teide, the highest peak in all of Spain. We went on ocean adventures, seeing whales, turtles and fish. We indulged ourselves in the cultural offerings that Tenerife has. And most importantly, we learned many things along the way. In my last journal entry, I would like to share with you a few more pictures and excursions I did not have time to share previously.
The first place that I visited outside of Spain was London, England. It was incredible to see many famous buildings such as Buckingham Palace and Big Ben. Before I visited London, I never knew that the London Eye was a Ferris wheel. We later visited Morocco, a country with some of the kindest people I have ever met. We rode camels, hiked through Paradise Valley and cheered on its soccer team in the World Cup. In Norway, we saw how another culture celebrated the festival of Christmas. We tried traditional food and were so surprised by how tall the people were there! Vising Paris, France, we climbed the Eiffel Tower and saw the beautiful city from above. We also ate delicious buttery croissants and other French pastries.
