¡Hola! Hello! My name is Matthew Robertson, but you can call me Matt. I am 23 years old and from the small town of Westford, Massachusetts. My family and I enjoy skiing in the mountains of New Hampshire and spending our summers on Cape Cod. There, we love exploring the beautiful beaches and fishing from the shore and boat. I attended the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, where I studied chemistry. I was also a member of the men's rowing team and was lucky to have the chance to compete in the rowing national championship!
During my senior year in college, I applied for and was fortunate to receive a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Grant. I was positioned in the Canary Islands, a Spanish archipelago off the western coast of Africa. Here, I assist 1st-6th grade students in English-taught courses at CEIP San Matías on the island of Tenerife. I love interacting with students and learning about their favorite things around the island. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling throughout Spain and the rest of Europe. I also enjoy fishing with local fishermen as I continue to explore my new home. I am thrilled to share my experiences with you all and cannot wait to hear from all of you!
