I stopped to watch a group of street performers dance near my school. They did cool flips and tricks, making for a very fun show!
For school, I read the texts of famous Italian authors such as Alberto Moravia and Francesco Petrarca. Reading old Italian is much more difficult than reading old English!
I played charades in Italian with my friends. It was very exciting, and I learned new Italian words such as supereroe which means superhero and l'aiutante di Babbo Natale which means Santa's elf!
Since I was feeling cold this week, I decided to learn how to make zuppa, which means soup in Italian. The zuppa contained carrots, potatoes, peas, celery and other vegetables I would not usually add to soup. However, it tasted much better than I expected and helped me warm up after a cold day in Rome!
