The weather was quite rainy and cloudy, but this week was warmer than the last with temperatures reaching almost 50 degrees fahrenheit!
There were many seagulls (une mouette) at Le Mont-Saint-Michel and Saint-Malo. There were also many pigeons near my apartment.
The area around Le Mont-Saint-Michel becomes walkable at low-tide. Beware the quicksand though! The sand still holds a lot of water and becomes quite thick, so it's easy to get yourself in a pickle. With the proper tour guide and preparation, though, you can safely explore the area by foot. There are even some excursions to intentionally sink in the sand (though I’d think twice about this).
