For this week's field note, I interviewed one of my student's little sister, Antonia! She is eight years old and is in first grade. Her favorite colors are pink and blue, and her favorite animal is a dog. Read on to learn all about Antonia and to get a glimpse of what living in Constanta is like from a kid's perspective!
For breakfast, I have milk and cereal, usually cheerios. For lunch, I eat ciorbă, which is a type of Romanian soup with potatoes, diced vegetables and meatballs. For dinner, I eat pasta (usually spaghetti), or drumsticks with potatoes.
My house is pretty big! We have a ground floor, a first floor and an attic. I have my own room that I share with my mom. We also have a garden where we grow flowers, grass and sour cherry trees. There is also a shed with a small kitchen and a grill in our garden.
I don't really have chores, but I do have to pick up my toys after I play with them. Generally, my mom just asks me to pick up after myself.
