Many people take extra care of this flower to make sure it can bloom in tieme for Tết. Someone once told me that you cannot have Tết without peach blossoms. They are that inportant, here! There are some companies that have giant peach blossom gardens. These gardens have all the resources a peach blossom needs in order to grow big and beautiful.
Peach blossom flowers are very small. Sometimes, birds will eat some of the flowers. Usually, you can see many bees buzzing around the plant. Otherwise, it would seem that many creatures leave the blossoms alone. In the United States, animals like squirrels, birds, and raccoons may eat the blossoms for a light snack. In Vietnam, you will not find any squirrels or raccoons in your backyard! Overall, peach blossoms seem to be doing very well. I truly hope that climate change/global warming does not harm the beautiful flower. No one seems to be worried about that yet.
