This week I traveled 91 miles by train from Dresden to Halle (pronounced Hall-uh).
I estimate that I have traveled 7,500 miles so far.
I took the IC, short for Inter City, train to Halle. Within Dresden, I rode the S-Bahn and trams. Of course, I also did a lot of walking!
I visited the city of Halle! The highlight of my trip to Halle was visiting the museum at the house where Baroque composer Georg Friedrich Handel was born.
My visit to Halle was also my first time in the German Bundesland, or state, of Saxony-Anhalt, which is a bit northwest of Saxony. I have now visited five of the 16 Bundesländer in Germany!
