I traveled 40 miles to a field site.
It took 22 hours of air travel to transit from the U.S. to Jakarta. I flew another three hours from there to Kendari. I was in a car for two hours more to get to my field site.
I traveled by motorbike, pete-pete (local bus), car and foot.
I loved visiting the local market!
There's a fishing location that locals told me about where the "water bubbles up." I'm hoping to figure out why that happens.
