Food I've gotten to enjoy in London! :)

  • Classic British tea with scones and cream

Grocery Stores I Visited!

  • Tesco

  • Aldi

  • Lidl

  • Sainsbury's

  • Marks & Spencer (M&S: more fancy food options)

  • Waitrose (premium grocery store)

How did I feel when I tried it?:

I especially enjoyed visiting coffee shops like Blank Street Coffee and Frequency Coffee, where I could relax, study, and enjoy the atmosphere. Trying foods like sushi from Itsu, birria tacos from Camden Market, hot pot in Chinatown London, and pho near London Bridge made me feel curious and happy to explore different cultures through food. At the same time, eating at familiar places like McDonald's, Papa John's, Domino's, and Dunkin' made me feel comforted because they remind me of home, and the food tastes wonderful!

I think the biggest cultural clash is the grocery stores; I noticed that grocery stores like Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, Sainsbury's, Marks & Spencer, and Waitrose are set up a little differently than in the United States.
