Hi everyone! My name is Mia Chang, and I am originally from Pasadena, California, but I am often traveling the world. In undergrad, I double-majored in Psychology and Sociology, and am now pursuing my Master's degree in Behavioral Health at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
In my free time, I love to stay active by surfing and playing basketball, watching movies, hanging out with my friends, and most of all, traveling the world! I have been to 24 countries across six continents (I have yet to visit Antarctica, but one day!), and I love witnessing and immersing myself in different environments from my own.
In January 2026, I will be heading to Zambia to teach English at the University of Zambia, and I am looking forward to making many new friends during my time there! I have been to Sub-Saharan Africa in the past, and fell in love with the hospitable culture that I am so lucky to have experienced. I strive to create lasting impacts on the communities I am part of, and I plan to achieve this by engaging in cross-cultural collaboration and multidimensional approaches to education.
