According to my Google Maps data, I traveled 122 miles this week. I didn't travel as far as usual since I spent several days on campus doing homework. My longest trip was to Kamay Bay National Park, which involved 40 miles of travel by train.
Since arriving in Australia, I have travelled 5642 miles in total, including flights. I have walked nearly 150 miles and taken transit for almost 1,600 miles. I have tried to get out and explore as much as possible, and I expect that these numbers will continue to rise significantly while I am here.
Since arriving in Sydney, I have almost exclusively used Sydney's public transportation to get around. Public transport in Sydney includes 5 means of transport: Buses, Trains, Light Rail, Metro, and Ferries. Between the 5 of these modes of transport, Sydney is extremely well connected. There are a few places in the city that I cannot reach by public transit.
