Bonjour! Hello! My name is Mika-Elle, but everyone calls me Mimi. I am 20 years old. I was born and raised in Manhattan. Growing up in New York City, I was exposed to a lot of different cultures at a young age. My favorite way to experience a new culture is through food. Food can transport you to different regions of the world through new spices, flavors, and ingredients--plus, it's cheaper than a plane ticket!
I am currently a junior at New York University, where I study French language and culture with a double major in political science on the pre-law track. Through the study abroad program at my university, I was able to spend a year in Paris, France! This helped me tremendously with learning and practicing my French outside the classroom setting. I am excited to share my journey across Paris and Europe with you guys! I hope to inspire you and broaden your horizons, for one day you can do the same!
