Moving Around Madrid

Hey guys! So, today, I want to talk to you about how transportation works and how many others living in Madrid move around and get to wherever we need to go. Hope you enjoy learning about this topic and comparing it to how your guys get around.

How do people get around?:

The first difference between transportation in Miami and elsewhere was its reliability, affordability and convenience. However, unlike in the U.S., most people in Madrid and the other major European cities don't own a car, or if they do they use them rarely. So, how do they do it? Well, option number one is walking! Madrid is very walkable, and everything tends to be pretty close. I live right in front of the supermarket, a 5-minute walk from the pharmacy, and about 20 minutes from school, so I walk to all those places. Option number 2 is the metro! In Madrid, the metro is the best way to get from one place to another if these are not within walking distance of each other. There are many stations, and there is usually a train every 5 minutes. And the final option is ! Howeverunlike in Miami, there are a lot of buses in Madrid, and these tend to be on time, and they are very big.
