I am also talking to lots of people like you guys in order to tell people about the weavers' problems! Many people, even people in Varanasi, don't know that the weavers have so many problems.
It has been cool to learn about the way that weaving works! Basically, there are strings that go horizontally and strings that go vertically. A loom helps a weaver put the horizontal strings over and under vertical strings in order to create fabric. I haven't done a lot of weaving, but I've been watching people weave a lot.
In my drawings, I draw things like the weavers' faces, their hands or their looms. My drawings are done with pencil or ink pen. I have also been learning to paint. Before coming to India, I did not paint a lot. When I did paint, I never used watercolors. Now, I have been using watercolors more than any other kind of paint.
