I also got to see many squirrels throughout the city, which I thought was really funny because they would jump from the roofs of one house to the other. Finally, there were a lot of birds of all types flying through the city, and though they were really beautiful, I have to admit that one of them did poop on my head at one point!
Whilst in Toledo, I decided to take a break from the touristy spots and walked to a nearby river which surrounds the city. The river was really cold and had a waterfall about the size of an average sized person. I was able to find a cool spot to sit by the waterfall and enjoy the sounds of the river and the beautiful view from that spot. Eventually, I decided to test my luck and found a safe shallow part of the river where I could walk through, and I suceeded! The current was fast but not strong enough so that I could be in danger. So I spent the rest of my afternoon admiring the river, walking around in it and looking at the fish. Overall, this was probably my favorite part of Toledo.
