Winter is coming... and it's bringing some seriously short days with it! The sun here is basically a late sleeper and an early quitter; it doesn't show up until around 7:30 AM and it's already gone by 4 PM. Every single day, we lose another minute or two of light! That means we only get about 8-9 hours of sunlight. As someone who is used to Florida's non-stop sunshine, that feels super short.
To make it even more challenging, the sky is often a blanket of gray clouds, hiding even that little bit of sun we're supposed to get. That's why my new rule is: whenever there's a speck of daylight, I'm outside in it! I've got to soak up all the energy I can before the long, dark night ahead.
