Also, there are some dogs that live in the street, but restaurants/people leave food for them so they are looked after.
I never get tired of seeing the waves crash along the shore every week with palm trees swaying alongside. I often run along the beach around sunset, and the view of the ocean with the deep purpley-orange sky is simply jaw-dropping. I do sometimes miss the feeling of going to the woods in Michigan and spending time alone in nature without anyone around, but I also appreciate seeing so many people taking time to relax at the beach and enjoy the beautiful landscapes Salvador has to offer.
I don't have much other nature news to report for this week! I am excited to travel to São Paulo later in December and experience a little bit of colder weather in time for the holidays; I miss the snow in Michigan during this time of year.
