I saw one snake this week, but since Zambia has some very scary snakes like black mambas, puff adders, boomslangs and African pythons, snakes are often killed when found. I'm still learning which species are safe, but regrettably it's usually only after the animal has been killed that I can find a network connection to identify it!
I saw a bunch of baby millipedes (maybe a thousand!) in a clump feeding on algae. When I poked one gently, they all started fleeing in an impressive stream!
I've noticed some wacky caterpillar chrysalises this week!
