The weather this week was very warm and sunny (all seven days!). I took advantage of the warmth by going for a quick run on Wednesday.
I have been pleasantly surprised by the weather during the summer in München. During the fall, it was rarely sunny, and during the winter, it was normally very grey and moderately cold outside, although there was little snow.
My original impressions were based on my experiences in northern Germany, which was usually more like the weather in fall and winter in München. München is clearly the place to be in Germany; it has been a wonderful week in terms of weather.
I have seen a variety of birds out recently. They are very noisy where I live in Olympiadorf, especially in the morning, but I welcome it given that it makes the atmosphere feel more like spring/summer. I am not exactly familiar with the species, but there are a lot of singing birds, which are always very pleasant, and then some crows as well.
