This week, I experienced typical winter weather for Salamanca. In the mornings, the temperature is normally around 35F and increasing to about 50F in the afternoon. Suffice to say, I've been wearing more sweaters and scarves than when I first got here. Also, it is normally very cloudy and windy, which are both contributing factors to the chilly air. At least there isn't any snow!
This week I saw a couple of deer in Poland. Similar to in New York, they stay on the side of the road and cars must carefully watch out for them. When I took an Uber from the airport to my hostel, a deer was crossing the road and we almost hit it because there was an intense fog. Luckily though, neither us nor the deer were hurt and we all went peacefully about our day.
