It was a really pretty walk, especially because the warmer climate of Madrid allows some of the plants to still be in bloom, or at least have green leaves!
While coming home on the night of Sunday, January 20, I walked out of the metro to a huge, super bright full moon. Pictures didn't do it justice! Later, a friend in Rhode Island posted a photo of the moon there and it was equally as big and bright. Apparently, it was a lunar eclipse, specifically a "super blood wolf moon" (what a wild name)!
