The weather this week was the best it has been since the end of December, but still relatively cold and gloomy. There's supposed to be sun next week!
Here's a fun fact: there's a bear sanctuary just outside of Prishtina! It's a large piece of land in the mountains designated towards protecting brown bears, which used to be heavily hunted. I was planning on going to visit the sanctuary this past weekend, but it's winter and the bears are hibernating, so I'll have to wait until it gets warmer outside.
I visited a spectacular lake in the north of Kosovo. Everything was snow-covered, but that actually added to the scene. The light shining through the clouds painted everything in a beautiful light, and I felt like I was in a winter wonderland.
