The weather is still quite warm in China. The lowest temperature this week was 70 degrees on a day when it was raining non-stop. It isn't uncommon to have wet weather in China and I find it's nice to have an umbrella when I go out because the rain comes and goes often. This week was fairly sunny though and I enjoyed being outdoors.
If you come to China, I bet you will see at least a couple of cats! Each community has several stray cats that are taken care of by the locals. There are a few stray dogs around too. Additionally I saw birds and bugs in my neighborhood.
Shanghai is a large and bustling city with many tall skyscrapers. Despite being such a dense concrete jungle, the city and local governments try to incorporate natural beauty in the form of landscaping on the streets and building beautiful parks. For this logbook post, I included a picture that I took in Fuxing Park to display the charm of Shanghai.
