I departed on Friday for the village of Tshabo. The weather during my stay was mostly sunny. But unlike your regular sunny day in the United States, the sun here was overwhelming and relentless! This lasted for most of my Tshabo homestay, ending only with the incessant rain of the final two days.
My week in Tshabo included a safari at a nearby game park. I was amazed (and a bit scared) at the sight of the lions, giraffes and other animals I had never seen in-person before. The visit was fun, and it was a miraculous sight to see the animals up close.
