Throughout this coastal state, the weather has been humid and hot but still refreshing with a nice sea breeze and some partially cloudy days to guard us from the full force of the sun.
I got to see a bunch of iguanas at the pyramid and ruins of Chichén Itzá! They were so funny and scuffled with each other a bit.
Hands down the ruins at Chichén Itzá. Basking in the glory of one of the seven wonders of the world, I nearly couldn't believe my eyes. I just kept repeating how amazing it was to be in the presence of such a man-made marvel.
The beaches of the island Cozumel were the most beautiful I've ever seen!
