It was sunny and warm all week. But Dominicans consider this their winter because some days, it is windy, which is completely different from winter in New York. I hope that you are staying as warm as possible and hopefully I'll bring the warmth back with me in April!
I saw goats alongside the road, cows while passing by a farm and a peacock at a cacao (cocoa, used in making chocolate) farm called Hacienda Cufa this week. I've noticed that cows are much skinner than cows in the United States.
On Saturday morning, I went to a cacao farm called Hacienda Cufa and as I was leaving, a peacock walked into the farm and showed off its beautiful colors.
