I traveled 90 minutes to get to Hacienda Cufa. I took a bus to Imbert which was about an hour, and it cost me $130 pesos, which is less than $3, and then I took a car to Hacienda Cufa which was about 30 minutes, and it cost me $75 pesos, which is less than $2!
I traveled up to 6 hours to get to Cap-Haitien, Haiti. Haiti and the Dominican Republic share an island, but it is rare for Dominicans to travel to Haiti so when I got the opportunity, I jumped on it!
I took a concho (public car) this week, which is the cheapest form of transportation here. It's only 50 cents.
Hacienda Cufa, which I mentioned earlier, is the chocolate farm.
