Most of the Paris arrondissement I live in is made of buildings and concrete, with the only plants being in florists. However, there are many plants by a church on the street near to where I live that make it a popular sight for locals to visit.
The pink rose is the only rose on the bush, making its bright color more vibrant in comparison to the dark green around it. It is a large flower with some smaller pink flowers below it.
The rose is very noticeable, and when I saw it I had to get closer and take some pictures! There are often vendors on the streets that sell red roses, but those are expensive and sometimes even fake. Seeing this rose for free was fun.
The rose lives in the bushes by a church, and is the only one in the area. There are probably usually more of them, but as of now that is the only one. Perhaps people who come by the church to see the plants and pick the flowers, and the cold weather probably killed the other roses.
