In the Swabian Alps (southwest region of Germany), many villages celebrate the spring tradition of Carnival with a local celebration commonly known as Fasnet.
This week, I took a closer look at the history of Leipzig, climbed to the top of the Völkerschlachtdenkmal, and took the train to visit the neighboring city of Weimar!
